One of my favorite types of designs to include in my quilts are ANIMALS!!

I make a lot of baby quilts, and animals are of course, perfect and so fun for a baby quilt.

I've made this deer bust quil...

I'm a little in love with this little fellow.

I echoed the zig-zag for the quilting. It took a lot longer than straight lines, but I really like how it shows off the herringbone-like pattern.
