One pattern, a dozen completely different quilts

Here's a quiet little pattern I've noticed. A lot of us follow the pattern exactly — every fabric, every placement, right down to the cover photo. Partly because it's what we know. And partly because going off-script feels risky. What if I choose the wrong colors? What if I waste fabric?

I want to let you in on something: a pattern is a starting point, not a rulebook.
