Connect with quilters from all over the world as we go on this journey together.
I've also designed Meander very intentionally to guide you through your Artist's Journey. There is structure and a clear path, but also a lot of room to explore what's inspiring you.
Each month, we "travel" to a different part of the world & learn the quilt style that evolved there + the specific techniques that accompany that style!
Dive into a full color curriculum with a new class added each month! Master both the Art & Science of Color and pull fabrics with confidence and ease.
Explore a bunch of fun styles easily with our new Block of the Month Program! Choose from a 6, 9, or 12 block project. Get ready for your most creative year yet!
A growing Pattern Library, each includes a small ("experiment") version, so you can try out the style quickly + Sewing Tutorial Library!
Meander was created by International speaker/teacher Shannon Brinkley. Shannon is the author of the book Scrappy Bits Applique as well as a quilt and fabric designer. A former elementary teacher, Shannon is able to break down all of the content so it is super simple to digest and quick to implement! She is known world-wide for her unique quilt-making style, and is excited to help you grow your own.
In addition to learning from Shannon, you'll also be learning from other talented and creative International and National Teachers. Here are a few recent teachers:
English Paper Piecing
Bias Tape Applique
We add a new workshop every month. As a member of Meander, you have access to all past workshops as well!

"It's better than a crafty class. Shannon is a clear, thoughtful and engaging teacher. I am taking the traditional styles, techniques, and color theory and mashing them into something uniquely mine."
We would LOVE to have you join us in Meander! The doors for enrollment are currently closed, but drop your email in here, and you'll be the first to know when they're back open!
In the meantime, get started with a free mini color training called, Your Color Style.
"At a time when we can't gather with quilting friends, it's nice to find a guild online that we can collaborate, learn, and get inspired with."
As a member of Meander, you have access to our private Meander Facebook Group where you can connect with fellow quilters, share what you're working on, and get inspired by what everyone is creating.
You'll also be able to connect with fellow members at our monthly virtual guild meeting! We do a Live Show & Tell -- it's so much fun spending time with and connecting with each other.

We are here for you! If you need anything at all, we're just an email away. The Meander Guild Facebook Group is also a great place to ask questions or request feedback/ideas/suggestions for color palettes, how to quilt something, etc. There is such an incredible wealth of knowledge in this international community!

I totally understand! I designed Meander just for you.
All the workshops get right to the point, no added fluff, so you can learn what you need quickly. All the patterns include an "experiment" version so you can try out most of the style/technique in under 2 hours.
You can devote as much or as little time each month as you'd like. If you have a bunch of unfinished projects right now, you can start by watching the Color Classes while you finish those works in progress!
I keep the materials requirements SUPER simple, so you likely already own everything you need for most projects, and I let you know what you can substitute for any items you might not have. I want to show you how to use what you already own to make something new.
"I really feel like I have discovered a new part of myself that I never knew existed. That interest and passion for quilting is back and my family is happy to see me so excited. I am really thankful I joined."
